Having lived so terribly intensely a life of beauty, torment, love, and
suffering, a life of creation, integrity, depth, and horror, a life of
rapturous joy in the face of nature, Jennie Kinneberg Wrisley took that
life on the night of February 26th, 2010.
This website is a memorial to her and her work.
Just before her death, Jennie had two poems accepted in Copper Nickel and two in Smartish Pace. In 2011, the editors of Smartish Pace nominated Jennie's poem, "The Blanks," for inclusion in that year's Best New Poets anthology.
